A Mac has all needed software and tools installed when it's delivered. The operatingsystem, Mac Os X Leopard is faster and easier to configure than Windows Vista.
Software on Mac
An advantage with Mac is the big resource of media software. Software such as Photoshop, Illustrator och Indesign are always released some months before PC can use them, and they run without problems.
Even the Microsoft must-have Office package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is included as a 30 day trial when you buy a new Mac.
Mac OS X Usability
Of course we were concerned if it would take time to understand a Mac. But after one week it felt as natural as working with a PC.
The usability in Mac OSX is better than in Windows Vista.
Virus on Mac
140.000 viruses on Windows versus just a few 100 on Mac OS X. The Security is really high so you don't have to be worried that someone is reading your mail with a Trojan Horse.
